HOW IT WORKS
We run contests. You play to win.
mainmarket is a contest site. We run them on sports first, and on anything else worth calling before it happens. Most are free to enter with no purchase necessary. Every one has its own published rules, a leaderboard that moves as results come in, and real prizes for the people who get it right. No odds, no betting.
- 1Pick. Every contest asks you to call something before it happens. Games, scores, whatever that contest is about.
- 2Lock. An email is the whole sign-up. No password, no app. Change your mind until the contest locks.
- 3Watch. Results come in and the leaderboard moves with them. Start a group and rank against your friends inside it; everyone still plays for the prize.
- 4Win. Each contest names its prizes and how ties break on its own rules page. Winners are verified and paid.
What's on
The contests page lists what is open, what is coming and what has finished, with the winners. Sports every week of the season; other subjects when we find a contest worth running.
Is it legit?
Every contest has official rules published before it opens. A free contest never requires a purchase to enter. Winners are paid on record and listed on the contest.
Who pays for the prizes
Some contests are presented by a sponsor, and it says so on the contest. The rest are funded by mainmarket. Either way the rules are ours and the prize is real.
